Keynote Speakers on June 14th

 

Tymoteusz Doligalski is an Associate Professor at SGH Warsaw School of Economics and head of the e-Business Unit. His current research is concerned with the business model of digital platforms, i.e. perceived from the canvas approach and the typology of platforms. Supervisor of student teams winning global competitions in search engine marketing (GOMAC and GOMC). He publishes articles and research notes on the blog doligalski.net, including

Grzegorz Lot is the Vice-President of the Management Board of Polenergia Dystrybucja. For over 25 years associated with the energy sector. From 2002 he worked in the Vattenfall Group, where he held several managerial positions. In 2006, he began his adventure with the client as the Director of Customer Service, and then the Director of Sales and Marketing. Since 2010, Vice-President of Vattenfall Sales Poland and a member of Vattenfall Business Group Central Europe Sales. In the years 2012–2019, he was associated with the TAURON Group as Vice President for Mass Market Sales at TAURON Sprzedaż, and in the period 2017–2019, at the same time, Executive Director for Customers at TAURON POLSKA ENERGIA S.A. After leaving the corporation, he ran his own company providing services in the field of sales strategy, product development, and digitization of business processes. Since February 2020, he has been associated with the Polenergia Group, responsible for trade and customer service. From September 2020 Member of the Management Board of Polenergia Sprzedaż, responsible for the B2C market. From January 2023, Vice-President of the Management Board of Polenergia Dystrybucja, responsible for Sales, Customer Service, and Marketing. A graduate of the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice at the Faculty of Power Engineering. He completed several courses and post-graduate studies. In 2013, he received an MBA from The Brennan School of Business of Dominican University. Member of several supervisory boards and industry organizations.

Marzena Czarnecka is a professor and head of the Department of Energy Transformation at the University of Economics in Katowice, Poland.  She gained her habilitated doctorate in economic sciences. She is also a legal advisor. Lecturer at numerous universities in Europe, including the University of Saarbrucken Germany, and the University of Granada Spain. Judge at the Disciplinary Court of the District Chamber of Legal Advisors in Katowice. Managed several international and national projects. Author and co-author of domestic and foreign publications in the field of energy, energy law, and consumer protection. Practicing attorney at law, in the legal office CzarneckaLegal.

 

 

Keynote Speakers on June 15th

Prof. Stéphane Ganassali is a Full Professor of Marketing at the IAE (Faculty of Economics and Business) of the University of Savoie Mont Blanc (France). He obtained a PhD in business sciences from the University of Grenoble in 1995. His teaching and research expertise are related to marketing research and consumer behaviour. He has also served as a scientific advisor for Le Sphinx (a software company) for 20 years. In that context, he is collaborating with many important companies like l’Oreal, BASF, Orange, and Decathlon for example. He is the founder of the European Master of Business Studies – a joint Master's run by four European universities in France, Germany, Italy, and Spain. He has been involved in many international research or educational programmes, e.g., Horizon 2020 or Erasmus+ strategic partnerships. He has taught in a dozen of different universities in Europe. He published several books for Sage publications and research articles in high-ranked marketing journals like Psychology and Marketing, Journal of Marketing Management, Qualitative Market Research, and Journal of Consumer Affairs.

Mateusz Hilgner is the Senior Operations Manager of the distribution center in Sosnowiec, near Katowice. He has been involved in Amazon’s operations since 2016. During this time, he managed various teams and areas. He was responsible for managing the Sustainability and Environment in CEE Customer Fulfillment Operations. He is a graduate of the University of Economics in Katowice and a scholar of the Technical University of Munich and the Vienna University of Economics and Business.
